Women work and leadership in Asia: A conversation with Aarti Kelshikar
The regional group SIETAR Stuttgart is pleased to invite you to a conversation with author and leadership expert Aarti Kelshikar on her acclaimed book How Women Work: Fitting In and Standing Out in Asia.
The book explores how women succeed in workplaces across Asia, highlighting the cultural biases, leadership challenges, and social expectations they face. Drawing on interviews and examples from countries such as India, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, the book offers practical lessons on leadership and career growth for women in Asia
In this one-hour interactive session, we will discuss the book’s key themes, explore its relevance for today’s global and intercultural workplaces, and reflect on what organizations and individuals can learn from the experiences of women leaders in Asia. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with Aarti directly through questions and discussion.
We are looking forward to seeing you there and to hearing your thoughts and ideas!
