Interculturally effective – but how?
It is like being thrown into the deep end and being told to swim. Many people feel this way when working in a culturally diverse team for the first time, when posted abroad or when expected to be interculturally effective as international project managers, lecturers or project coordinators. Which strategies really work? Do we understand and trust each other? Are we pursuing shared goals? The IRC model helps us to focus on what matters: understanding other people’s perspectives, communicating flexibly, building sustainable relationships, and managing uncertainty constructively.
IRC stands for “Intercultural Readiness Check”, a scientifically validated tool which has already been used by over 100,000 people worldwide to understand and develop their intercultural competences. In this workshop, you will learn how the IRC is used in coaching, training, leadership development and education. You will also discover how certification enables you to use the tool professionally with clients, teams or students. Are you curious about how you can measure, understand and develop intercultural competences in a targeted manner? Find out everything you need to know about the IRC, how it is used, and how you can become certified in the presentation by Dr Ursula Brinkmann.
