Referentinnen

Anna Seidel is a Third Culture Kid, intercultural trainer, and global mobility expert. Having grown up between the USA and Germany, she brings both personal and professional experience to her work with globally mobile families and international teams. A third-generation global nomad, she is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate belonging, identity, and connection across cultures.

Wiebke Homborg spent her childhood and adolescence in Belgium, the United States, and Spain due to her father’s international career – and only at the age of 18 did she live for the first time in what was considered her “home” country, Germany. It was only during her training as an intercultural trainer about ten years ago that she first encountered the concept of Third Culture Kids – a true “aha” moment. This new understanding became a crucial turning point, shaping both her personal search for identity and her professional focus: supporting people with complex cultural backgrounds and helping them uncover and embrace their transcultural potential.

Carmela Masecchia Schöpf defines herself as an Intercultural Diplomat, a definition that fits well her original profession in the Italian Foreign Office, followed by years of multiple relocations, cultural adaptations and transitions. Her work focuses on cultural awareness, skillful communication, and creating personalized pathways across cultures to achieve a sense of belonging and strengthen identity. Her core topics include intercultural competence, leadership and conflict management, negotiations and the challenges connected with raising children between borders (TCKs).

Nathalie Spreter is a Third Culture Kid who grew up across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Taiwan. She discovered the term “TCK” only two years ago and it helped her to reflect on many past experiences and situations.
